Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself.

A: “My name is Katy, and I am a sophomore at Huron. I enjoy watching Netflix and playing with my two dogs.”

Q: What has been your favorite part about this school year?

A: “My favorite part of this school year has actually been having synchronous learning via Zoom or Big Blue Button. I have been able to find more motivation to be more productive, since I have a set schedule every day.”

Q: What do you miss about Huron?

A: “I miss being able to see my friends and experience the chaos of the hallways and the classroom. The socialization aspect is definitely different in a virtual setting than in person.”

Q: What is one goal you have for this year?

A: “One goal that I have for this year is to stay on top of my work and to not let myself fall behind.”

Q: What is your favorite class and why?

A: “My favorite class is definitely my math class. I have always enjoyed math, and I really enjoy my teacher. She has adjusted her lessons to make it easy to learn online.”

Q: What hobbies/sports do you do?

A: “I am involved with the Huron Players. I really enjoy working behind the scenes.”
