Q: Any plans for the future?

A: “I plan on studying a facet of engineering in college. I’m stuck between electrical and aerospace engineering. I’m not sure which college I’ll be going to with decisions coming out soon (fingers crossed), but I’ll probably end up at UMich. I also want to keep doing what I’m doing right now — playing hockey and saxophone. I’m not ready to give that all up just yet.”

Q: Who’s your favorite teacher/class and why?

A: “My favorite class is Calculus BC because I like math and Mr. Collins has been a great teacher. It finally seems like what I’m learning finally has pragmatic applications. Sorry Geometry.”

Q: What was your favorite activity/sport/club?

A: “While I won’t miss our record, the hockey team has been a second family to me. I wish that the past four years didn’t fly by so fast.”

Q: Where do you see yourself in ten years?

A: “If all goes to plan, I’ll either be working in the semiconductor industry and developing new electronic circuitry, or I’ll be an aerospace engineer and launching rockets with Elon Musk.”

Q: One word to describe your high school experience?

A: “Especially after what’s going on right now, I’d definitely call it ‘wild.'”
