BPA Fall Leadership Conference

The work of a Business Professionals of America officer is never done. Not only do they have to have an hour in their day where they can work on their BPA responsibilities but they also go to conferences that strengthen them as leaders. On Oct. 9, 2019 all 11 board members along with club advisors Christine Garrett and Jonathan Cook headed to Lansing for the annual Fall Leadership Conference.

“It’s really important that they [BPA Board] take a lot of initiative for sending our communication and organizing the after-school activities,” Cook said. “In the past couple of years our boards have been highly productive and they take a lot of initiative themselves. They have to be those sort of self-starters and take that initiative themselves.”
