Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what hobbies/sports you do.
A: “My name’s Nicole, and I’m a freshman. I do dance and I like baking, and I have a dog named Papaya.”
Q: How would you describe your transition from middle to high school?
A: “Honestly, it wasn’t too bad. It sorta just feels the same, except a bigger school, more people, and more classwork.”
Q: What class is the most interesting so far and why?
A: “Probably computer science principles, because it’s interesting to learn about python.”
Q: What are 3 words to describe your first months of high school and why?
A: “Challenging — because I signed up for some classes that are kinda hard and push me more. Interesting —because of all the new stuff I learn in classes. Exciting — because I get to join new things and meet new people.”
Q: How has high school surprised you so far? Were there any skills you had to learn to get work done or fit school into your schedule?
A: “I wasn’t really expecting the hallways to be as crowded as they are, and I had to get better with procrastination because of the amount of assignments.”
Q: How do you want to remember your high school experience four years later? What are you doing now or how do you plan to make that happen?
A: “I want to remember my high school experience as a fun time with my friends and where I learned a lot of new things. I plan on and am now joining new clubs to meet new people, but also making sure to do well in my classes.”
