Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what hobbies/sports you do.
A: “I have been a teacher at Huron for 9 years now and Coach the JV Football team. Outside of school, I love playing retro video games and hiking”
Q: What do you teach and why?
A: “I teach history because I have always loved the subject and believe it is very important for us to have a functional society.”
Q: Have you always been interested in teaching?
A: “Yes, it is the only career path that I have ever seriously considered.”
Q: What/who inspired you to become a teacher?
A: “My dad was a Social Studies teacher too and always seemed to be happy, even though he was tired.”
Q: What do you do in your free time?
A: “Coach Football, spend time with family, and play retro video games.”

Q: What is your favorite teaching moment?
A: “Though not just one moment, I love hearing from alumni that the things they learned here at Huron have helped them in their life beyond High School.”
Q: What surprised you about this year?
A: “I made a switch back to paper from the reliance on chromebooks last year and I am shocked at how much more social my students are.”
