Yuanchen Zhao, Design Editor
Yuanchen is currently in 12th grade, and this is her second year with the Emery. She has a strong passion for art, and is determined to contribute her skills to newspaper. In her free time, Yuanchen likes to walk her dog, hang out with friends, and sketching. Her favorite movie is “The Call” and her favorite ice cream flavor is coffee or caramel.
Kiki Choi, Social Media Editor-In-Chief
Kiki is currently in 12th grade, and this is her third year with the Emery. Kiki is a member of Huron’s Symphony orchestra and plays on the varsity lacrosse team. Outside of school, she has been doing kendo for ten years. In her free time, she likes to read, dance, and watch movies. Kiki’s favorite director is Christopher Nolan, and her favorite Nolan movie is The Prestige.
Salem Dinh, Staff Writer
Salem is currently in 11th grade and this is their first year on the Emery’s staff. Salem plays flute and is busy with Mock Trial during school, but in their free time they like to binge watch different shows with their cat. Salem’s favorite movie is any Spiderman movie (but the Andrew Garfield ones are objectively the best) and their favorite flavor of ice cream is mint chocolate.
