Twenty-seven-year-old Faye Webster is an Alternative and Indie music artist who has been releasing music since 2013. Many people compare her to Beabadoobee, Clario, and Laufey which all fall in alternative, indie, and pop music. With 11 years of music production, she made her debut in 2017 when she released her album ‘Faye Webster’, followed up two years later in 2019 with her album release ‘Atlanta Millionaires Club’. This project helped her gain more following and she is now one of the top music artists in the alternative indie genre.

Faye Webster released a single, ‘After The First Kiss,’ on Oct 2, 2024, following up after her latest album, ‘Undreased at the Symphony,’ which consisted of 10 songs and was released on March 1, 2024. The vocals in ‘After The First Kiss’ are very similar to those in Faye Webster’s other songs; her voice is softer than most songs, but it complements the pace and instrumentation in the song. The instruments featured in the songs are strings, guitar, drums, and piano. 

‘After The First Kiss’ is about Webster’s new love affair and how their relationship develops throughout the song’s lyrics, her tone is sensitive and sweet towards her lover. “After the first kiss, She met my mom real soon, After the first kiss, She got me deep in too.” The lyrics tell the story of when the two lovers kiss and how their love quickly develops from Webster’s point of view of their relationship.
