We landed in Phoenix, Arizona, and then drove up to our hotel in Palm Springs, California. On our scenic drive of orange desserts, we ate at a side-of-the-road taco truck. Through the blazing heat, we got a serving of beef and two different kinds of chicken; one spicy and one mild. These tacos were to die for; perfectly savory and juicy. The sprinkle of cilantro was the cherry on top. To offset the 110° Fahrenheit, we got a cold glass bottle of orange Mexican soda, which paired delightfully with our main dish.
