Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and things you do in and out of school.
A: In school, I’m studying, I’m hanging out with friends, and I’m paying attention in class. Out of school, I sometimes work. I go driving, go out with my friends, and study.
Q: What is your favorite Huron event and why? (Multi Culti, Homecoming, Clap Out, etc.)
A: My favorite Huron event is probably Multi Culti, because it’s so much fun just to watch everyone do the performances and just have time to appreciate cultures
Q: Where is your favorite spot at Huron and why? (Certain lunch tables, classrooms, outdoor areas, etc.)
A: My favorite spot at Huron is wherever my friends are. They make it comfortable and fun to be around, and it makes the environment so much better.
Q: What is one of your favorite high school memories and why?
A: I feel like there are so many of them it’s hard to choose. Some are better than others, one of my good memories was meeting and making my friends, which led to having a lot of fun both in and out of school, causing there to just be a whole bunch of little moments that make a big memory.
Q: If you could make up a class and teach it at Huron, what class would you teach?
A: A branch like psychology, but it would be more like therapy. People can just relax and talk to each other, and I would teach them how to have fun or how to talk about their feelings in a healthy way.
Q: What is something you would redo about your sophomore year if you could?
A: I wouldn’t overestimate or underestimate myself. I wouldn’t try to act smart when I’m not, but I wouldn’t also try to make myself feel stupid, just because I couldn’t do something.
Q: What’s an interesting fact or hidden talent about yourself?
A: An interesting fact about me is I have about seven ethnicities.
Q: What is your favorite season during the school year and why?
A: December, because it’s always so much fun. The holidays, especially Huron, are so much fun. You have to cram a whole bunch of studying because finals are right after winter break, but otherwise, it’s so much fun.
Q: Who is your idol and why?
A: My mom. She always got good grades, and she has a good job right now, and she can live comfortably. She was still able to keep us afloat but have lots of fun at the same time.
Q: What is one lesson high school has taught you?
A: taught me a lot actually, one thing though, is that you need to take yourself into Priority. You have to keep yourself in check, like if you’re procrastinating, get your work done. If you’re feeling lazy, well, be productive. If you’re late, beyond time. Keep yourself in check.
Q: What is a hot take of yours?
A: I feel like blunt people or people who are more real about stuff are a lot better than mean or nice people.
