EA FC 25 is a soccer simulation video game created by EA Sports that had recently been renamed ‘FIFA’ to ‘EA FC’ due to a renewed deal for the governing bodies’ license on FIFA and EA Sports agreement.
On Sept. 27, 2024, EA FC 25 was officially released to the public, not including those who pre-purchased it, allowing them to play a week before everyone else.
The players were interested in seeing how the graphics improved and since AI is slowly investing in our everyday lives, players also wanted to see how AI Play would become a part of the game or improve on AI Play. Reviews so far have said that the graphics quality is amazing and many players like the new walk-out animation when packing new players being added to their team.
In the game’s first couple weeks, there tend to be many bugs and errors throughout the gameplay, of course, there are going to be bugs and errors since they had just released it and had to reach their dues but over the years developers have become lazy compared to game developers back then. In the past, once you bought a game it wouldn’t have nearly any bugs, glitches, or errors but since the gaming world has become online and in time gameplay developers are constantly having to come out with updates to fix glitches and bugs in the software so many buyers are not going to be happy with the first playthroughs of the game.
Many players enjoy Career Game Mode in EA FC. EA has improved its Career Game Mode and players encourage others to try Career Mode as well. Career mode allows players to manage a variety of different soccer clubs from across the world, in which a player can customize game plays, players who sign to the club, and how to apply tactics to the club. EA added new features to Career Mode allowing the player to customize player roles, and enable better fine tactical tuning to their club.
EA has added a new game mode available to players called ‘Rush Game Mode’ which allows players to play 5v5 on a smaller pitch, and this game mode also allows Youth Academy players to play in the 5v5 rush. EA has also added playability and storytelling on the women’s side of soccer, which improved Career Mode and Managers Career Mode.
Many returning players have bought the game and enjoyed it so far, but some have not enjoyed it. The community has mixed feelings about EA FC 25 but for the next coming weeks, players will see bugs and errors along with other problems be resolved. Many are recommending buying it in December or January since it will be a few months since the release meaning fewer bugs and glitches as well as being on sale because of the holidays.
