Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and things you do in and out of school.

A: Hi, my name is Smrithi Arcot and I am a junior at Huron! In my free time I row, play the cello and binge watch whatever my current obsession is (right now it’s “Suits”)!

Q: What is your favorite Huron event and why? (Multi Culti, Homecoming, Clap Out, etc.)

A: Definitely Multi Culti, I was in it freshman year and just watched sophomore year and it’s so fun either way (shout out ISA!!)

Q: Where is your favorite spot at Huron and why? (Certain lunch table, classroom, outdoor area, etc.)

A:I don’t really have one to be honest, but I do love the sofa in room 6208!

Q: What is one of your favorite high school memories and why?

A: BPA states last year was definitely the most fun I’ve had in high school, the late night talks with my hotel room plus hitting up our favorite sushi spot in Grand Rapids are always going to be core memories!

Q: If you could make up a class and teach it at Huron, what class would you teach?

A: Either the Brains of Serial Killers or Greek Mythology!

Q: What is something you would redo about your sophomore year if you could?

A: I would redo all of AP Precalculus, specifically the first semester, I was not prepared in any way for the level of trauma I got from that class.

Q: What’s an interesting fact or hidden talent about yourself?

A: I think I am really good at initiating animal sounds, but I know some people beg to differ…

Q: What is your favorite season during the school year and why?

A: After AP testing gets over in May, school gets so chill, the weather starts getting nicer and you can feel the anticipation for summer in the air, its hands down the best time of the school year.

Q: Who is your idol and why?

A: My dog! His ability to do nothing but exist and get treated like royalty is something I truly aspire to be!

Q: What is one lesson high school has taught you?

A: Chill out, it’s never that deep!

Q: What is a hot take of yours?

A: One Piece is the best show ever created.
