A: I took a trip to Indianapolis and St. Louis with my husband and two children. We did the Children’s Museum in Indianapolis, the Indianapolis Zoo, an Indiana Fever game for my 10-year-old daughter, the City Museum in St. Louis, the St Louis Zoo, the Gateway Arch, and a St. Louis Cardinals game for my 7-year-old son. The next week, my daughter and I did a week of Maybury Girl Scout Day Camp at Maybury State Park. I also took a Girls’ Weekend trip to Port Huron.

Q: What is your favorite thing you did this summer?
A: My favorite thing I did this summer was attend a two-week leadership institute camp at Brown University. I was able to meet students from all around the world (China, UK, Turkey, Russia, Ecuador, etc.) while residing on a college campus and working with a sociology PhD candidate. It’s a bittersweet memory now knowing I will probably never see my camp friends again, but I’m still super grateful for the memories since I wouldn’t want to scooter down Thayer Street and taste-test pitaya bowls with anyone else.
