Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and things you do in and out of school.
A: Hi, my name is Dominic, and in school, I am a part of the Huron symphony band, and the marching band as a squad leader of the clarinet section. Out of school, I like to play tennis and learn about astrophysics.
Q: What is your favorite Huron event and why? (Multi Culti, Homecoming, Clap Out, etc.)
A: The Huron football games. Since I am a part of the marching band, I enjoy marching for our football team and being able to spend time with my friends in the stands while playing stand tunes.
Q: Where is your favorite spot at Huron and why? (Certain lunch table, classroom, outdoor area, etc.)
A: The 17th tile on the 6200 hallway. I have experienced many tough battles on this tile, always battling with the many people going through the hallway.
Q: What is one of your favorite high school memories and why?
A: One of my favorite high school memories was during a bonding event with the Symphony clarinets. I really enjoyed spending time with them and being able to create a bond with them.
Q: If you could make up a class and teach it at Huron, what class would you teach?
A: If I could make and teach a class, I would make an astrophysics class.
Q: What is something you would redo about your sophomore year if you could?
A: I would change nothing because the past is history, the future is a mystery, and today is a gift. That’s why they call it the present.
Q: What’s an interesting fact or hidden talent about yourself?
A: I love learning about the human body since I am planning to go pre-med in college.
Q: What is your favorite season during the school year and why?
A: Spring, because the weather is warm and I am able to play tennis outside again.
Q: Who is your idol and why?
A: My great uncle, since I’ve always heard stories of him studying really hard and becoming an orthopedic surgeon.
Q: What is one lesson high school has taught you?
A: To prioritize school and have fun!
Q: What is a hot take of yours?
A: I love putting in milk first before cereal, and I always make sure to heat the milk in the microwave for 32 seconds.
