Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and the things you do in and out of school.
A: Hi, I am mostly quiet yet talkative at the same time (if that makes sense). Whenever I have the time, I like to play with my dog or swim on the weekends.
Q: What is your favorite Huron event and why? (Multi Culti, Homecoming, Clap Out, etc.)
A: As much as I enjoy Homecoming, I enjoy Multi Culti because it is a great way to distract myself from schoolwork. It’s always nice to see people enjoying themselves and having fun instead of being stressed out.
Q: Where is your favorite spot at Huron and why? (Certain lunch table, classroom, outdoor area, etc.)
A: I do not have a favorite spot and Huron.
Q: What is one of your favorite high school memories and why?
A: One of my favorite memories was one from Freshman year, Me and my friends were doing an act for English class. It involved swordfighting with plastic lightsabers. It was scripted for me to lose but I fell on the ground (which was not scripted), and broke character—saying “Where’s my script?!” (because there was no way I was going to memorize all of my lines). I was embarrassed that I fell, but looking back, it was funny.
Q: If you could make up a class and teach it at Huron, what class would you teach?
A: I don’t think I would teach a class. Teaching seems difficult, especially with freshmen.
Q: What is something you would redo about your sophomore year if you could?
A: I would redo myself by being more open to others, bottling up emotions didn’t turn out well. It never does.
Q: What’s an interesting fact or hidden talent about yourself?
A: I don’t really have one.
Q: What is your favorite season during the school year and why?
A: Spring, because that’s when everything seems alive, no more dead trees outside.
Q: Who is your idol and why?
A: I don’t really have one.
Q: What is one lesson high school has taught you?
A: It’s always good to stay on top of work, but you need to live a little.
Q: What is a hot take of yours?
A: The comically large shoes with the skinny jeans do not look cool, and stop sagging, not trying to see the stains on your underwear!
