Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and things you do in and out of school.
A: In school I take many classes, such as AP US History, and Computer Science A AP. Outside of school I do weightlifting and game development.
Q: What is your favorite Huron event and why? (Multi Culti, Homecoming, Clap Out, etc.)
A: My favorite Huron event is Multi Culti, because it offers a wide range of entertaining acts from students, and is overall fun to watch.
Q: Where is your favorite spot at Huron and why? (Certain lunch table, classroom, outdoor area, etc.)
A: My favorite spot at Huron is the library because it is a relaxing place, and allows me to get lots of work done.
Q: What is one of your favorite high school memories and why?
A: My favorite high school memory was taking a field trip to Chicago for my German class, as it was interesting to explore the city, along with the German market they have set up there.
Q: If you could make up a class and teach it at Huron, what class would you teach?
A: It would not be an entirely new class, but I would teach weightlifting and nutrition, as they are both not only important in their own right. But they also are interdependent, which makes teaching them together valuable.
Q: What is something you would redo about your sophomore year if you could?
A: Something that I would retake in my sophomore year, would be taking more rigorous classes, as in through that year I only took 1 AP class, which including one or two more, I believe would have brought more value to my learning, and the year overall.
Q: What’s an interesting fact or hidden talent about yourself?
A: One interesting fact about myself is that I have gray eyes.
Q: What is your favorite season during the school year and why?
A: My favorite season during the school year would be spring/summer because of the fact that it is when it begins to warm up and the day gets longer. Which I believe overall lifts the mood, and makes things better.
Q: Who is your idol and why?
A: I would say that my idol is Sam Sulek. He is a bodybuilder from Ohio, and through his content, I have learned a lot more about lifting, and nutrition in general, which has helped me tremendously in my own life and weightlifting journey.
Q: What is one lesson high school has taught you?
A: I believe that high school has taught me a lot about maintaining focus, and putting my all into something. As throughout high school I have learned and gotten much better at working, time management and other skills, through the necessity of doing assignments, and studying.
Q: What is a hot take of yours?
A: Manhua is at times better than Manga, due to it being in color and [having] more readable illustrations.
