Lena Trang’s dog, Lexi, is a teacup poodle, and Lena has had her since fourth grade. Her dad bought Lexi off Craigslist from a lady who was moving for work, and he paid her $200 for Lexi. They got her because she was cheap.
“When you buy a bargain dog, you get a bargain dog,” Lena said. “She doesn't play fetch, and she doesn't do tricks, but she likes to ride around the neighborhood in a baby stroller.”
Lena describes her dog as shrewd, difficult, and dinky. Lexi spends her time sleeping on bathroom matts and inside of her shark bed. Even so, Lena loves her because her funny faces always make her laugh.
